Waite Dalrymple is co-founder of Parametrix, Inc., a Sumner-based
consulting firm specializing in water/wastewater engineering, waste
management, transportation engineering, environmental sciences and
architecture.
Under Dalrymple’s leadership, Parametrix made several major
contributions to better living in the Pacific Northwest. One of the
company’s largest tasks was the writing of the environmental impact
statement for Sound Transit, the light rail system for three
counties in the Puget Sound area.
In 1999 Dalrymple sold Parametrix, Inc. to its employees making
it a 100 percent ESOP-owned company with 450 employee owners in
Washington, Oregon, New Mexico, Colorado and Idaho. He remains
active on the Parametrix board of directors.
Waite Dalrymple graduated from Saint Martin’s College in 1965
with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering.
