Program mission statement
The mission of the Office of Institutional Research (IR), as the
designated office of official data reporting and analysis for Saint Martin's
University, is to provide decision and planning support services to enhance
institutional effectiveness. The Office of Institutional Research is
committed to providing University leaders, faculty, and staff with timely,
objective, and accurate information to help create a learning environment in
which students can succeed academically, creatively, culturally, socially,
and spiritually.
Program goals, objectives and outcomes
Strategic planning assessment
- Compiling, analyzing, and interpreting statistical data used in
strategic planning efforts by University administrators, trustees, and
committees.
Institutional planning Assessment
- Facilitating and supporting institutional planning at all levels by
designing useful and accessible information systems and documents.
Communication/compliance assessment:
- Ensuring that Saint Martin's University provides consistent,
accurate and reliable information to its external and internal
constituents by coordinating compliance and external data reporting.
