Program mission statement

The mission of the Office of Graduate Studies is to support the overall mission of Saint Martin’s University by supporting graduate programs in recruiting, admitting, enrolling, and serving qualified graduate students. We do this through providing services to students and by ensuring high quality programs characterized by intellectual engagement and academic rigor.

Program goals, objectives and outcomes

To attract a sufficient number of applicants each year to ensure strong, viable programs.

To attract an applicant pool and subsequent enrollments whose personal and academic backgrounds will support their success at the University academically, socially, spiritually, and in certain cases athletically.

To provide clear, concise information about degree majors, online programs, financial aid (FINAID), admission/ institutional policies, and procedures.

To provide leadership to the Graduate Council in the establishment and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the viability and quality of programs.
