The O'Grady Library provides numerous multimedia and computer
resources in support of its educational mission. Guests
have limited access to selected resources. The O'Grady Library's lending policies for audio-visual
materials, computer equipment, and multimedia equipment are
defined in the library's
Circulation
Policy and Past Due
Materials Policy. Computer use is defined in the
Acceptable Use Policy for Guests.
Below is an overview of these policies as they apply to guests:
- Guests may view videos (videotapes and DVDs) in the library, but not check them
out.
- Guests may check out cassettes, films, kits, software,
CD-ROMS, or slides for three weeks.
- Guests may use the TVs and CD/cassette players located in
the Multimedia Center's carrels.
- Guests may use designated computers in the Information
Commons during specifically defined hours, as explained in
Guest accounts.
- Guests may not check out the Multimedia Center's media rooms
(M4-M6) or group study rooms.
- Guests may not check out audio-visual equipment,
computer/digital equipment, or classroom equipment.
