Weekly Moodle workshops for
extension faculty Wednesdays 2 - 5. The first hour is an
introduction to the topic indicated below and the remaining time an open
lab.
Registration is required.
May 28: Grading and the
Moodle grade book
June 4: Creating quiz questions and graded
assignments
June 11: Designing the course page (adding features and
links, configuring settings, formatting)
June 18: Adding multimedia (video, audio, images)
June 25: Uploading, organizing, and managing web pages
and other documents
July 2: Creating effective online chats and
discussions
July 9: Encouraging student collaboration
using the
glossary, peer review, and discussions
Location: McChord Computer Lab (2:00 - 5:00)
Focus: Introduction to Moodle for faculty who will use it in Term 5
traditional classes or in Term 1 fully online courses. Faculty
with previous training who want follow-up are welcome.
