The O'Grady Library has been a participant in JSTOR since March 2002. JSTOR archives the back issues of over 200 core scholarly journals in the humanities, sciences, and social sciences. Access is available both from on-campus and, with a valid Saint Martin's Network account, from off-campus. We welcome JSTOR as a significant addition to our collections and encourage you to take advantage of this resource in your research. If you are new to JSTOR, explore the alphabetical list of currently available journals and examine the discipline handout for your academic field. Note that JSTOR archives complete back files from the first issue to a "moving wall" of from two to five years ago. Because of agreements with publishers that enabled JSTOR to establish this archive, JSTOR cannot provide access to more recent issues. Below is a brief overview of how to use JSTOR and a description of its conditions of use. More detailed help guides are at http://www.jstor.org/help/, and we also encourage you to stop by the reference desk, call the reference staff at (360) 486-8803, email a librarian, or use Ask a librarian to chat online if you have any questions. Searching When you search any of the OCLC FirstSearch databases, Academic Search Premier, or Business Source Premier, citation records will now show links to JSTOR if the article is available there. You can also search JSTOR directly at http://www.jstor.org/search or browse issues by discipline and journal title at http://www.jstor.org/browse. A link to the JSTOR search page is also now on the library's Research tools page.
Once you find a citation, you can view the full-text image of the article using your browser, you may download the entire article to read or save with Adobe Acrobat Reader, or you may print it. Printing You may print a single copy of an article for your personal use.
Conditions of use JSTOR is currently available only from computers on the campus network. Our participation in JSTOR is contingent on the Saint Martin's community honoring JSTOR's Terms & Conditions of Use. In brief, these state that you may not download or print an entire issue of a journal, you may not download or print multiple copies of articles, and you may use JSTOR content only for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please read the full Terms & Conditions of Use. |
