Provides abstracts and indexing for over 8,000 scholarly journals and popular magazines covering all academic subjects. The full-text is available for about 4,700 periodicals (3,600 peer-reviewed).

Biographies of over 18,000 Americans. Includes illustrations.

ATLA Religion   (EBSCOhost)
American Theological Library Association's index for religious and theological literature. Full-text articles available from over 50 journals.

Biography Resource Center   (Gale Group)
Biographical database with full-text articles from over 280 periodicals and 120 reference sources, such as the Dictionary of American Biography, Encyclopedia of World Biography, Contemporary Musicians, and Notable Scientists.

Catholic Periodical and Literature Index   (EBSCOhost)
Online version of the index produced by the American Theological Library Association and Catholic Library Association. Over 300,000 citations from Catholic books, journals, magazines, newspapers, and papal documents.

Classical Music Library   (Alexander Street Press)
A searchable database of classical music recordings from forty labels, including EMI, Sanctuary Classics, Hyperion, and the CBC. It includes tens of thousands of licensed recordings that users can listen to over the web. Limited to three (3) simultaneous users.

FMG On Demand (Films Media Group) on campus or off campus
Online access to seven videos from Films for the Humanities:  A Common Heritage, Dante's Inferno, The End of Days, Integrating ESL Students into the Classroom, Kenneth Branagh's Twelfth Night, Managing the Difficult Group, and W. Edward Deming: Prophet Unheard. This is pilot project for O'Grady Library.  Requires high-speed Internet access (cable or DSL when off campus).  Check your configuration.

New Testament Abstracts (EBSCOhost)
This database is product of a partnership between ATLA and the Weston Jesuit School of Theology. The database is an indispensable research and bibliographic aid for scholars, librarians, clergy and students of the New Testament and its historical milieu. The database contains more than 33,000 article abstracts, 1,200 review abstracts, 12,600 book abstracts, and 50 software abstracts. Each year an additional 2,100 articles from more than 500 periodicals in numerous languages are selected for inclusion. In addition, approximately 800 current books are also summarized annually.

This database is a product of a partnership between ATLA and the Catholic Biblical Association. The database features indexing and abstracts for journal articles, monographs, multi-author works, and software related to Old Testament studies. Content from over 450 journals is covered. All abstracts are in English, regardless of the language of the original work. Topics covered include antiquities, archaeology, biblical theology, philology and much more.
