Turn Off Speech Recognition Control Panel Click Start, and then click Control Panel. Double-click Regional and Language Options. On the Languages tab, click Details. Click Language Bar. To turn text services off, click to select the Turn off advanced text services check box. -or- To turn text services on, click to clear the Turn off advanced text services check box. Click OK. If prompted to confirm the change, click Yes or OK. Click OK twice. Language Bar Right-click the Language bar, and then click Settings. Click Language Bar. To turn text services off, click to select the Turn off advanced text services check box. -or- To turn text services on, click to clear the Turn off advanced text services check box. Click OK. If prompted to confirm the change, click Yes or OK. Click OK.
