I cannot receive email or connect to the network
Possible solutions:
1. Cables to wall jack or computer ethernet card are loose. Make sure to
connect them properly.
2. Substitute a different ethernet cable. If the network works, you could
have a bad cable which needs to be replaced.
3. Ethernet card is loose in bay. Push card in to ensure a connection.
4. Substitute a different ethernet card. If no change, could be a bad cord
which needs to be replaced.
5. Plug into a different wall jack. If a connection is established, call the ITS department
x-4338.
6. Try to turn computer off and restarting it. Computer might not have recognized
the network when started last.
