Student Activities
2006-2007
Throughout the year,
students have a wide range of fun activities to participate in.
These are just a few of the activities that Saint Martin's international
students have been involved in.
Lambert Lodge Outing (September 29, 2006)
ESL Students were invited to Lambert Lodge, where they spent time
playing music, games, and playing near the water!




Halloween Party (October 31, 2006)
The International Club, along with other campus offices, hosted the
annual Halloween party. Many international students, along with
American students, came dressed up and enjoyed the party!


International Education Week (November 13-17,
2006)
International Students participated in a variety of activities from
the Suitcase Stories forum to Taste of Culture to the MXO games.





Procession of the Carols (December 3, 2006)
International Students participated in this yearly event by
displaying their native country's winter holiday festivities. The
surrounding community that attended enjoyed festive displays and
homemade goodies to sample!

Chinese students share things from home at the Chinese new year
celebration dinner.

International students share traditional crafts with the
community at Olympia’s annual ethnic celebration.

At
the Kuwaiti independence day party, students sang and performed on the
lute.

costumes and give each other candy.

“International Education Week”, Tanzanian students shared
information about their country with other Saint Martin's students through a lunch
time presentation.
