Writing minor requirements
The minor will require students to take a total of 18 credit hours.
The minor will give students a well-rounded education in creative, academic
and professional and journalistic writing. At the same time, the minor will
allow students to specialize and develop an area of expertise. Students will be
required to take a total of 18 credits from the following:
- Three credit hours of literature (outside of General
Education upper-division credit hours)
- Nine credits hours; one course from each of three categories
below (of which three hours must be lower division)
- Six upper division credit hours; any two courses from the
three categories below
