Grants
Grants awarded as part of gift aid are made on the basis of financial
need. No repayment is required.
Federal Pell Grant
The federal Pell Grant program is available only to undergraduate
students seeking their first baccalaureate degree. In most cases,
eligibility is determined by an individual's or family's previous year's
income.
The actual amount a student will receive is determined by a variety
of factors.
Please note that with this and many other federal or state programs,
amounts awarded vary, depending on legislation, regulations and analysis
of the student's needs.
Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant
The federal grant program is available only to undergraduate students
seeking their first baccalaureate degree. Priority is given to fulltime
students who are Pell Grant recipients who have the greatest financial
need.
Washington State Need Grant
The Washington State Need Grant is a state grant program for
Washington residents with exceptional financial need. It is awarded only
to undergraduate students seeking their first baccalaureate degree. The
maximum eligibility is 15 quarters or 10 semesters (or a combination of
quarters and semesters).
Saint Martin's Grant
Saint Martin's Grant are internal University awards. Awards from
these programs are made to undergraduate students with demonstrated
financial need.
