Award changes

The census date will be the last day to add classes without special permission. Your financial aid for the semester will be based on your enrollment on the census date.

Census dates for the 2011-12 academic year:
Fall:
Lacey Main Campus, TCC, Clover Park, Ed Centralia, and Everett Students: September 9, 2011 JBLM and All MBA students: October 24, 2011
Spring:
Lacey Main Campus, TCC, Clover Park, Ed Centralia, and Everett Students: January 27, 2012 JBLM and All MBA students: March 26, 2012
Summer:
July 8,2011 (summer is reviewed after the first full week of Lacey Campus Summer Session 2 for all summer enrollments)

If you add or drop credits prior to the census date, your financial aid package may be adjusted to reflect your change in credit hours of enrollment. You may gain/lose financial aid eligibility depending upon the type of financial aid you are receiving.

If you add or drop credits after the census date (not a complete withdrawal), your financial aid package will not be adjusted. However you may have future financial aid eligibility issues. Please review the Satisfactory academic progress policy for more information on the requirements to maintain financial aid eligibility.
**Please be advised that WA State funds are based on enrollment at the time of disbursement even after census***

Return of financial aid after withdrawal

You may find it necessary to withdraw from all classes during a semester. If you received financial aid, Saint Martin's University, as well as yourself, may be required to return all or a portion of the financial aid that you accepted. This situation could result in you owing aid funds to the University, the government, or both.

If you are considering withdrawal from the University, please contact a Financial aid counselor and your academic adviser so your decision will be based on a clear understanding of the consequences of withdrawing from all classes.
