Saint Martin's and China

Saint Martin’s University has been actively involved in educational and cultural exchanges with China since 1995.

Each year, Saint Martin’s faculty travel to China to teach international business, accounting and general education courses. Saint Martin’s students have been going regularly to China on the “China Study Tour”. Business and ESL teaching internship opportunities are now available to Saint Martin’s students in Shanghai, Wuhan and Zhuhai.

In April 2004, Saint Martin’s hosted a highly successful China business conference, with close to 300 in attendance. In March 2007, Saint Martin’s University, Port of Olympia and Thurston County Economic Development Council will lead a group of small and medium-sized businesses to China for a “business-to-business” trade mission.

Saint Martin’s University also was recently invited to provide ESL and technical training in China.
