China Business Delegation to Visit and Tour Thurston County 2007 In January, a business delegation from Shanghai will be visiting and touring Thurston County to discuss and seek business and trade opportunities. The 21-member delegation will be arriving January 27 and staying through February 5. The Economic Development Council is developing an itinerary with Saint Martin's University, The Port of Olympia, and the Olympia-Lacey-Tumwater Visitor & Convention Bureau designed to maximize the exposure of opportunities for their consideration with specific attention paid to Foreign Direct Investment, trade opportunities, tourism, and market expansion. On Thursday, February 1, we are inviting you to participate in a Business-to-Business luncheon and networking session with the delegation. What: Business-to-Business Seminar and networking session - Will provide you an opportunity to hear first hand of the business interests of the visiting delegation. We will have a networking session following presentation from the delegation to discuss common areas on interest - translation will be provided.
