Robert A. Harvie Social Justice Lecture Series

Judge Clifford "Kip" Stilz, Thurston County District Court, will
speak on the District Court's Mental Health Court. Since 2005,
Washington's Mental Health Court strives to be a "problem solving court"
for persons with mental illness who are charged with non-felony crimes.
Judge Stilz is a graduate of Willamette University (1966); holds a
Master of Public Administration degree from UCLA (1967); and is a law
graduate of the University of Washington School of Law (1970). Judge
Stilz was appointed to the Thurston County District Court in 1985.
