Students beginning fall 2008
Students will attend one of the following Advising & Registration sessions prior to their arrival at SMU Beginnings Fall Orientation. This program includes valuable information and fun activities that will prepare you for your arrival on campus in the Fall. Select from the following program dates:
 

Session 1:	Friday, July 18, 2008
Session 2:	Wednesday, July 23, 2008
Session 3:	Friday, July 25, 2008

Students have the option to come for just the day, or choose to stay overnight in one of our on-campus residence halls prior to the orientation program.

Optional overnight dates: July 17, July 22, July 24

*Orientation date preferences and housing may be requested through the registration process.

Families and supporters
Families and supporters of students are welcome and encouraged to attend. We have many special events for you to join in and learn what enriches and expands the SMU mind. Families will get an opportunity to experience campus life, dine on campus, and socialize with other SMU families. Hotel information is listed on the Parent & Family Resources page for parents or guardians who wish to stay overnight.
