Women’s Golf: Saints post highest finish ever

Phoenix, AZ – The Saint Martin’s women’s golf team
finished third at the NCAA Division II Women’s Golf West Region
tournament, the highest team finish in program history, held at the
Legacy Golf Resort.
As a team the Saint Martin’s shot a total 940 after
shooting a 319 on the final day.
Stacie Henden and Amy Dalzell led the Saints tying
for 7th both with a tournament total of 229.
Babe Prante shot a three round total of 237 to
finish 16th. Lauren Roberts finished 29th and Alexi Coltom finished
31st. Roberts finished the tournament shooting a 249 while Coltom posted
a 253.
“The girls had a great tournament and a great
finish,” said head coach Bob Grisham. “This was a tremendous
accomplishment for them, this was a fantastic season.”
Tarleton State came back with a 291 on the final day
to capture first place with a team total 910. Tarleton's Shraddhanjali
Singh fired a three-under 69 to win medalist honors with a 218 total.
