Outdoor Track: Saints compete at UW Outdoor Preview Meet

Seattle, WA --- Saint Martin’s University men’s and women’s track and field teams competed at the University of Washington Outdoor Preview Meet on Saturday at Husky Stadium.

On the women’s side, Saint Martin's Lakita Burr (Jr., Lakewood, WA) placed eighth in the 100 (13.58) and 400 hurdles (1:08.37). Jessica Pendon (Fr., Spanaway, WA) was sixth in the 1500 (5:07.88) and Danika Washington (Jr., Lacey, WA) placed fourth in the shot put (26-05.50).

On the men’s side, Caleb Timmer (So., Tacoma, WA) finished second in the 800 (1:55.33) and twin brother Josh Timmer (So., Tacoma, WA) was seventh in the 400 hurdles (59.98) and javelin throw (147-05).

The Saints' Bryan Gerry (Fr., Lacey, WA) was eighth in the 400 (52.49) and John Riak (Fr., Lacey, WA) placed sixth in the 3000 (8:41.74).

Saint Martin's next competes in the University of Puget Sound Open on March 24 in Tacoma, WA.
