Men’s Basketball: Saints ink Bomber

November 19, 2007

Lacey, WA – Saint Martin’s men’s basketball has signed Lynden High School senior Brady Bomber to a National Letter of Intent as announced by head coach Keith Cooper.

“We are pleased to be able to sign a player the quality of Brady early this year,” said Cooper. “He is a pure point guard and proven winner who knows how to compete and make the players around him better.”

Bomber averaged 9.4 points per game and 4.7 assists in helping Lynden to a 25-2 record and the Class A state title. He was named first-team all-Northwest League last year for the second year in a row and second-team all-State, with his senior year still to play.

“He is a good student and gym rat with a great work ethic; he fits in very well with our existing players,” added Cooper. “Having him play with and against Jake Linton every day for a full year will be great for his development. With Nick Smith and Brady we should remain very good at the point guard position even after Jake graduates.”
