Basketball: Saints receive all-conference honors

March 5, 2007

Spokane, WA – Jake Linton was selected to the Great Northwest Athletic Conference first-team all-conference team while three other Saints received honorable mention as announced by the conference office.

Brendan Campbell earned honorable mention on the men’s team while Whitney Golob and Jessi Reome received it on the women’s team.

Linton, a sophomore guard from Lynnwood, led the conference in scoring in league games averaging 22.3 points per game for the Saints. He was also third in league games in assists per game, 5.63, and three point percentage at .477.

Campbell, a junior forward from Bremerton, average 16.4 points per game for the Saints and was third in the conference in rebounding averaging 7.3 per game.

On the women’s side Golob, a senior forward from Olympia, averaged 7.9 points per game and 7.9 rebounds per game for the Saints. She was also third in the conference in free throw percentage at .865.

Reome, a junior guard out of Nine Mile Falls, posted an average of 9.8 points per game. She was second in the conference with a three point percentage of .432.
