Saints again earn Player-of-the-Week honors

Lacey, WA - Saint Martin’s earned one Player-of-the-Week nod and two honorable mentions for outstanding athletic performances last week.

Adam Siler was named baseball Player-of-the-Week. During a four game series with Cal Poly Pomona Siler reached base 12 times in 13 plate appearances. He went 6-7 with two doubles and a homerun. He drove in a team high six runs and walked six times. Siler also earned a save pitching one inning and allowing only one hit in the Saints 7-4 win over the Broncos.

On the basketball court Jake Linton and Kassie Ludeman received honorable mention for their efforts. Linton scored a career high 36 points against Seattle Pacific going 6-11 from the arc. He had a total of 59 points and 11 assists in two games. He is averaging 29.3 points in his last three games.

Ludeman put up 18 points for the Saints in a home win over Western Oregon. She was seven for eight from the field and pulled down six boards as the Saints posted back-to-back wins fort eh first time this season.
