You are like no other.  As an alumnus of Saint Martin's University, you have a unique and personal view of the University.  And you now have a significant opportunity to support your alma mater through the exciting new Alumni Admissions Ambassadors Program.  Operated by the offices of Alumni Relations and Admissions, the program uses one of its best resources, alumni, to help the University with student recruitment.

The program has two goals:

• To extend the geographical reach of the Office of Admissions

• To give alumni an opportunity to serve their school as only they can

Through the University's Alumni Admissions Ambassador Program, alumni volunteer their time to answer questions from prospective students and encourage recently admitted students to follow  through on their choice by enrolling.  Ambassadors can choose to help in the way that best suits their schedule and talents, for instance, attending a University fair or emailing a prospective student.  Your experience, both at Saint Martin's and after graduation, could help a young student make one of the most important decisions of their life - to attend Saint Martin's.

Why are we asking for your help?

Only a Saint Martin's University graduate can fully answer questions that every potential student wants to know:

• What is Saint Martin's really like?

• What makes Saint Martin's distinctive?

• How will a Saint Martin's University degree help me in the real world?

You can answer these questions by participating in activities such as:

• Representing Saint Martin's at University fairs or local high school programs or fairs.

• Writing, emailing or phoning students.  You'll be contacting recently admitted students and their parents to offer congratulations, answer questions and encourage students to follow through with enrollment.

• Planning or assisting with summer receptions, barbecues, socials or other activities in your area.  Hosts, helpers and financial supporters who can give Saint Martin's-bound students and their parents a great send-off as they leave for University are needed.

• Greeting students and parents during on-campus visit programs or participating in other activities that showcase the campus.

• Attending receptions and other activities in your locale to share your experience of Saint Martin's with prospective and admitted students.
