Family: Wife, Ruth; children, Erin, Sean,
Shannon and Colin.
Education: BA in Accounting, University of
Washington; CPA.
Professional Background: Worked for a
national accounting firm for 28 years and served as head of the
Portland, Oregon Office. I spent the last 11 years running my own
accounting and consulting firm and am now semi-retired.
Boards/Volunteer Activities: Served on the
blue ribbon panel for Archbishop Levada (now Cardinal Levada) to
reorganize the charitable assets of the Archdiocese of Portland; chair
of the board for Catholic Services for Children and Board of Catholic
Charities for the Portland Archdiocese; founding member of LaSalle High
School Educational Excellence in the Eighties fund raiser.
Passion in Life: If anything in my life is a
passion I believe it would be people; my family, the families of my
friends and the Saint Martin's family. I also greatly enjoy travel. My wife
might say my passion is work-any kind!
Hobbies: Travel, working around home and the
yard, automotive tinkering and outdoor activities of all kinds.
Why Saint Martin's?: Saint Martin's was a large
part of my formative years and I was blessed by it.
Favorite Saint Martin's Program or Personality: Of course
I would have to start with my good friend and classmate Fr. Kilian;
Dave Spangler (and Jeanne); and Father's Leonard and Conrad, who were
such a part of my youth.
