What is the Martin of Tours Society? In honor of the namesake of Saint Martin’s University, Saint Martin of Tours, this select organization:
Who belongs to the Martin of Tours Society? Approximately 70 percent of Martin of Tours Society members are graduates of Saint Martin’s University or High School. The remaining 30 percent are "friends" of various types, (i.e. parents of students, business representatives, etc.). While most of the members of the Society reside in the state of Washington, others live in California, the Midwest, on the East Coast and even in South America. All are individuals who value the University’s quality education within the Benedictine framework of prayer and work. Society members appreciate the balance of education and values that prepare Saint Martin’s graduates for a life of service within their communities and express their support through generous giving. How do I qualify for membership? Individuals, corporations, foundations or organizations that contribute $1,000 or more annually to support programs at Saint Martin’s University automatically qualify for membership in the Martin of Tours Society. Your gift may be used to meet Saint Martin’s greatest needs (unrestricted) or you may wish to designate it for a specific purpose. An unrestricted gift will be allocated toward those programs of highest priority as indicated by the president and leadership of the University. A restricted (designated) gift will be used according to your wishes, consistent with the University’s mission and programs. Designated gifts can support scholarships, create a scholarship endowment or assist a particular department or fund. An annual gift may also be designated for a specific capital campaign. For instance, you may choose yearly to add to a scholarship endowment, purchase books for the library or purchase equipment for a specific department. Lifetime membership can be achieved by:

We invite you to join A personal gift of $1,000 or more annually to any Saint Martin’s University fund, program or department qualifies you for membership in the Martin of Tours Society. You can contribute a variety of assets including cash, securities and real estate.
