Procession of the Carols
On Sunday, December 4 2005, the Saint Martin's community along with
family and friends joined together in Old Main's beautifully decked
halls for the Procession of the Carols featuring Saint Martin's
University Chorale, Saint Martin's University Concert Band and the
American Legion Band. International students and university clubs were
scattered throughout the halls performing old and new Christmas
favorites, children were able to get their pictures taken with Santa
Claus and there was a candlelight mass at the Abbey Church with
luminaries lighting the way back to Old Main's St. Gertrude Dining Hall
for a Christmas tree blessing and more performances. Now in it's second
year, this wonderful family event helped set the mood for this joyous
season.
