The next steps - Summer/Fall 2008 admitted
transfer students
Congratulations – You're a Saint!
You are now officially a SMU “Saint” and we look forward to having you
join our campus! To help prepare you for what to expect next, here’s a
list of actions to complete:
Items to complete immediately
- File for Financial Aid – the Free Application
for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) If you haven’t already, fill out and
submit your FAFSA with Saint Martin's University’s school code (003794).
March 1 is the priority deadline for financial aid.
- If you aren’t filing a FAFSA, remember to obtain and fill out a
FAFSA
Waiver form and return it to Financial Aid.
- You must file either a FAFSA or FAFSA Waiver in order for any money, merit aid included, to
disburse to your student account.
- Read and review your Financial Aid Award Letter
Award
letters will be mailed only to FAFSA/FAFSA waiver completed
applicants. If you have received a financial aid package and you
have questions or wish to decline any part of the award, please
indicate so in an email to the Financial Aid Office,
finaid@stmartin.edu.
- Submit your Enrollment Deposit
Send in your Enrollment Deposit ($125) to reserve your space in the
2008 class. This amount is non-refundable after June 1, but will be
applied to your student account and appear as a payment of your
tuition and fees. If you are planning to live in the residence
hall, you will also need to submit a $200 housing security deposit.
Enrollment Deposits can be made by cash, check, money order or
credit card. To make a deposit by credit card, call the Office of
Student Accounts at 360.438.4389. Submit your Enrollment Deposit and
