Housing
Saint Martin's coed residential village offers both privacy and community.
The Residence Life Program is dedicated to a
safe and secure environment. We strive to make your university home a
comfortable place to build relationships, develop social responsibility, and
achieve academic success.
Students have several housing options available,
including Baran
Hall
(traditional residence hall),
Burton Hall
(furnished apartments), and
Spangler Hall
(suites and furnished apartments). Parsons Hall includes
our first year student residence hall featuring a large common area on the
first floor in the center. Parsons Hall has two styles of rooms for students.
First year students are assigned a double room.
All four halls are the site for activities ranging
from movie nights and billiards competitions to craft
nights and other social activities. Residents have
in-room access to the campus network, e-mail and
Internet services.
The residence halls have been fitted with outside
lighting and card proximity systems. Saint Martin’s
provides 24-hour security services and escorts at night,
in addition to actively promoting awareness and crime
prevention.
Because Saint Martin's is committed to
building a strong sense of community in the Benedictine tradition, all
single undergraduate students younger than 21 and who have fewer than 60
semester hours of college credit (running start credits do not apply) are required to live on campus. Exceptions are covered in the
University's Housing Exemption Policy. Please call 360-486-8856 or
email your questions to Housing and residence life.
