Reason why I love working at Saint Martin’s: Wonderful people & fun office

Favorite thing about the Lacey/Tumwater/Olympia area: My only sister and her family lives here too. My little niece Alex is adorable! You have to ask me for her picture.

Piece of advice for prospective students or applicants: Ask lots of questions. It doesn’t cost a thing!

Favorite book and why: “Love Story” by Erich Segal. It has an amazing quote about love. Check it out for yourself!

Favorite movie and why: I know you wouldn’t think that Czechs make movies, but they actually do. And they produce some of the best comedies I have seen in my life. Their sense of humor is absolutely fabulous!

Favorite vacation/travel spot: Because I live so far from home, traveling back home to Slovakia where my family and my long time friends live is my absolute favorite.

Favorite Quote: “Ak nejde o zivot, ide o hovno!” (If you can figure this one out, you are going to love it)

I'm inspired by: I know it is cliché to say by my parents, but it is true. They are the warmest, the most rational, and the most motivating people I know.

Favorite song or lyrics: I used to hate country music when I came to USA. And now I love it! And I like it so much I cannot even pick one song out of so many.

My hidden talents: I speak 4 languages: English, Slovak, Czech, and German

Favorite restaurant in Lacey/Tumwater/Olympia: I have to say my own kitchen where I cook our original Slovakian food. And then also Chili Thai (Thai food) and Koibito (sushi). You have to try them! But make sure and give me a ring before you come for dinner to my house.

Three things I would want with me if I was stranded on a desert island: Strawberry daiquiri, brownies, and a good book…………sounds like a vacation to me!

A random fun fact about me: I do not have “a sweet tooth”. I have 32 sweet teeth and therefore am the “queen of baking”!
