The monks of Saint Martin's gather daily to offer prayer, to praise and listen for God's voice at different times of the day: morning, noon and evening. These moments are the hinges of daily life when the community is reminded of God's loving presence. Saint Benedict described this round of daily praise and prayer as the opus Dei, the work of God. The monks also gather daily to celebrate the Eucharist. The public is always welcome to share in the prayer life at the Abbey. |
