Timely warnings

Depending on the particular circumstance of the crime, especially in those situations that could pose an immediate threat to the community and individuals, the SMU Office of Public Safety may issue a security advisory over the campus-wide email system, providing the University community with more immediate notification. In such instances, a copy of the notice is posted in each residence hall and placed in other conspicuous places. Anyone with information warranting a timely warning should report the circumstances to the SMU Office of Public Safety by phone (360) 438-4555 or come see us in Old Main, Room 251.
