Professional profile:
Originally from Everett, WA, I migrated to New Jersey to escape the
rain and pursue my bachelor’s degree at Seton Hall University. After
serving for four years as a resident assistant, I knew I wanted to
pursue a career in higher education, and I accepted a job in campus
activities at St. John’s University in Queens, NY. There, I received
my M.S.Ed. in student development practice for higher education.
After a year at Stony Brook University and a total of 10 years
between New York and New Jersey, I returned to the northwest after
being offered a residence director position here at Saint Martin's.
I am now serving Saint Martin's residents as the director of housing
and residence life. |

Professional profile:
I am happy to be serving here at SMU! I grew up in the beautiful
Pacific Northwest, but spent five years in West Palm Beach, Florida,
working as a residence director at Palm Beach Atlantic University,
before I joined the SMU community in fall 2010. I earned a
bachelor’s degree from George Fox University where I was a resident
assistant, and a master's degree in organizational leadership, as
well as a graduate certificate in servant-leadership, from Gonzaga
University. I live on campus with my wife, Briana, our daughter,
Sigrid, and son, Wills. |

Professional profile:
From Stetson University in the Florida, The Sunshine State, I have a
Bachelor of Arts in psychology. Currently I am enrolled in the
Master of Arts in counseling psychology here at Saint Martin’s
University. My undergraduate experience allowed me to serve my
community as a sorority house manager, resident assistant,
conference assistant, and head resident. Since, I have been working
as a residence director. In working with students, I love watching
the transformations they go through during their time in college, as
well as hearing about their post-grad lives. |
