18th Annual Japan Cultural Exchange Tour May 14-25, 2008
The Japan Cultural Exchange Tour is a tradition at Saint Martin's University. Each year, five students and two faculty/staff chaperones are selected to participate in the tour. The program takes students to Japan for two weeks. Participants visit three sister schools: Mukogawa Women's University in Nishinomiya (near Kobe), Okazaki Women's Junior College in Okazaki (near Nagoya), and Reitaku University in Chiba (near Tokyo). As a participant, you will stay with two different host families and then have hotel accommodations in Tokyo. This is an incredible opportunity to experience home life in Japan, meet students and enjoy the sights and culture of Japan. Thanks to the generous assistance of scholarships provided by the Office of International Programs and ASSMU, students pay the remaining $1,000 plus spending money. Applications are accepted each Fall. The trip takes place in May following the end of final exams. Don't miss this opportunity!
