Do I need a parking permit for orientation? Where do I park?
No. All visitors attending orientation programs are asked to park in Lots N, O, or Q located diagonally from the Trautman Student Union Building. See campus map.

How can I get a parking pass for the year?
Parking passes may be obtained through the Office of Public Safety in Old Main 251. Students must bring proof of current auto insurance coverage and their vehicles make, model and license plate number. All parking permits are free. For more information contact 360-438-4555.

What should I wear?
Casual clothes are fine (your favorite SMU T-shirt is perfect!). Dress for the weather and walking around campus.

Will we get to eat?
Yes. Please see your specific orientation schedule for meals provided.

When can I move in and where do I go?
You will receive additional housing information providing specifics on room assignment, check-in and where to park on move-in day. For more information contact the Office of Housing and Residence Life at 360-412-6163 or e-mail residence life staff.
