Convert analog (VHS) videos to digital or digital to analog, download digital
videos from a digital camcorder via FireWire, or edit short digital videos.

- Pinnacle Studio 10: Step-by-step video editing application
for creating AVI, MPEG, Real Media and Windows Media files.
- Windows Movie Maker: Microsoft video
editing application for creating Windows Media files (.wmv).

- Combination VCR and DVD player
- DVD burner
- Digital
camcorders
- FireWire card and cable: Download recordings from
the digital video camera or other IEEE 1394-compatible devices.
Note: FireWire (IEEE 1394) is also available on library
scanner stations and in
M3 and L2
- Pinnacle MovieBox DV: Import digital recordings
(through FireWire) or convert VHS recordings to digital and vice-versa
(through AV cables).

All public computers in the library run the Windows XP operating system and are
installed with the standard Saint Martin's software suite (common software)
and minimum hardware configuration.
Additional software and peripherals are available to the Saint Martin's community on selected
computers:
