Engineering software is installed on all library and other lab computers. For support, see below.

  • ALGOR V16 (finite element analysis)
  • Autodesk Design Review -- AutoCad
  • Internal flow
  • MathType 6 (mathematical notation software*)
  • McTrans HCS2000 (highway capacity)
  • MSC MD Patran (production design simulation)
  • PIPE-FLO (design and simulation)
  • PTC Pro/Engineer Wildfire (3D product modeling)
  • RISA 2D (analysis and design)
  • SAP2000 (design and analysis)
  • Solid Works -- lower level pods only
  • West Point Bridge Designer
  • WinTR-55 (rainfall-runoff hydrologic model)

* MathType is restricted to students currently enrolled in an engineering, math, or science course and to faculty in those departments.

All public computers in the library run the Windows XP operating system and are installed with the standard Saint Martin's software suite (common software) and minimum hardware configuration.  Additional software and peripherals are available to the Saint Martin's community on selected computers:

Support

The library's Technology Coordinator, Ric Kube, (360.486.8811 or by email form) can provide basic computer troubleshooting most weekdays 7:30 am - 4 pm.  However, for training or support in these applications, please contact the instructor who has assigned them.
