Commencement 2011

Friday, April 1 Commencement reservations and cap, gown and hood orders must be received.
Commencement tickets will be mailed after all reservations have been made.
Tuesday, April 26 Awards convocation - Worthington Center - 10:30 a.m. - Student Scholar's Day - 2 p.m. (locations to be announced)
Friday, April 29 Graduation Fair - 9 a.m. - Worthington Center - (Photos, Cap & Gown distribution, commencement tickets pick-up, etc.)
Sunday, May 1 Senior Mass - 7 p.m. - Abbey Church (reservations required)
Friday, May 6 Bachelor degree candidate's Baccalaureate and hooding ceremony.  Abbey Church - 5 p.m.
Bachelor degree candidates will assemble at 4:30 p.m.
Friday, May 6 President's reception immediately following baccalaureate.
Saturday, May 7 Master degree candidate's hooding ceremony.  Abbey Church - 10 a.m.
Master degree candidates will assemble at 9 a.m. at Old Main. Wear cap and gown. Morning prayer service followed by the formal presentation of the academic hood.
Saturday, May 7 MAC graduation ceremony and luncheon.
Harned Hall Cafe - 11:15 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Please come immediately after the hooding ceremony.  Families and friends are welcome.
Saturday, May 7 Engineering Ring Ceremony - 11 a.m. - Worthington Center

Saturday, May 7 Commencement - Marcus Pavilion - 2 p.m.
Each participating graduate will receive eight (8) tickets
Graduates will assemble at the bottom of the grand staircase at 1:15 p.m. (weather permitting). Wear cap, gown, hood and honor cord. Ceremony will last approximately 2-2 1/2 hours. This is the ceremony when degrees are conferred. Diplomas will be issued the week of May 16th if all requirements have been completed, grades are received from the instructors and institutional financial accounts are paid.
(A reception hosted by the Alumni Association will follow in the Norman Worthington Conference Center.)
Friday, May 13 Extension degree candidate recognition ceremony - extension campus students only - Clover Park Technical College - 2 p.m. (reservations required)
