Krinda Joy Carlson grew up in Eastern Washington and graduated from Pateros High School. At Saint Martin’s, she majored in English with an emphasis on creative writing and journalism and is graduating with a 4.0 GPA. She was a member of both the Society of Fellows and Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society. During her four years here, she wrote for the student newspaper The Belltower, volunteered as a youth leader, and competed for the track and cross country teams. Her career goals include using the written word to reach youth with a message of faith and inspiration. She hopes to continue the passions she cultivated while at Saint Martin’s by pursuing publishing of her writing projects, working with junior high and high school students in a church or classroom setting, and achieving the ultimate runner’s goal: finishing a marathon.

Trinity Laurel Sokol is from Olympia, Washington. She started as a music major at South Puget Sound Community College and transferred to Saint Martin’s in her junior year, and is graduating with a 4.0 GPA. She has had a life-long love for music, singing in a Glee Club at Montessori pre-school, a musical production at Pioneer Elementary School, and in the Olympia Youth Choir. She was home-schooled from fourth grade through high school, which allowed her to take professional music lessons, including operatic study with Elaine Burk and guitar instruction from Phil Lawson. At Saint Martin’s, she feels fortunate to have studied with Crystal Zimmerman, Darrell Born, Bruce Berry, Art Peterson, and the very unique Brother Aelred. She attributes who she is today and who she will become to the wonderful music faculty and close friends she has found at Saint Martin’s.
