Retreats

The Mosaic
Retreat is directed specifically to freshmen and sophomores. This gives
those new to Saint Martin’s the opportunity to reflect on their
spiritual lives, share their stories with others, and discover how their
spiritual lives might develop while at Saint Martin’s. The spirituality
of the retreat draws from Catholicism and Christianity, but students of
all religious traditions are welcome. The mosaic serves as a metaphor
for our lives- as we are constantly immersed in the details of daily
living, it is not until we step back for some time to reflect that we
see how everything fits together in the “big picture”. We discover that
we are all pieces of the larger picture as well.
We offer a Junior/ Senior Retreat in the spring
semester- a retreat that focuses on discernment as one prepares for
post– graduation life.
We have had women’s retreats at Lambert Lodge.

We have recently presented the Beauty and the Soul
retreat that explores what we consider beautiful and how that is
connected with our experience of the divine. This is also held at
Lambert Lodge.
We also attend weekend activities in the region such
as the Immersion Weekend focusing on social justice issues and the
Pacific Northwest Catholic Students’ Conference, a meeting of Catholic
students from as far as Oregon, British Columbia, Idaho and Montana.
