Resources and Education

All are welcome to visit our humble resource library, a shelf of books on religious topics that students, faculty, staff and monks are free to check out.  We have several versions of the Bible and a variety of commentaries, books on Catholic history, the sacraments, the Benedictines, several of the writings of Thomas Merton, prayer, lives of saints and other subjects.  For information about the Benedictine heritage at St. Martin's, visit the Catholic Benedictine Leadership Team website.

Our RCIA (RIte of Christian Initiation for Adults) program is available for those seeking the sacraments of confirmation or baptism into the Catholic faith.  Classes are held every Sunday evening after Student Liturgy at 8:00 PM on the essentials of Catholic life.  Candidates and their sponsors attend these classes, but those who are simply interested in learning more about Catholicism are also invited.

The activities of Campus Ministry and articles on the spiritual and religious life of Saint Martin's are published through Campus Ministry's newsletter, The Lighthouse.
