H.A.N.D.S of Campus Ministry Club
Who
are we?
HANDS is an Associated Students of Saint Martin's University club that
works closely with the Office of Campus Ministry. Started in 1996 as the
Campus Ministry Club, the HANDS of Campus Ministry changed its name in
2002 to better show the campus community what it is that we do. We are
involved with the campus community, local community, and regional
community in a variety of ways. Our first priority is to serve the
community on Saint Martin's campus. We are best known for our community
service projects benefiting SMU students, staff, faculty as well as the
outer community.
What does HANDS stand for?
It stands for Helping All ‘N Doing Service. We serve each other with our
hands. No matter how small, how big, how beautiful, or cut your hands
are they are powerful tools.
Who can join?
Anyone at any time can become involved in the activities HANDS of Campus
Ministry provides. You do not have to be a regular member, and although
we recommend getting more involved, we enjoy seeing new faces all the
time.
How do I get involved?
Getting involved in HANDS of Campus Ministry activities is easy. Just
watch for e-mails and fliers of events, come to meetings to become
better informed of activities, or just show up to an event! HANDS would
love to have you!
