"Bread and Roses" was founded to serve meals to those in need in downtown Olympia.  Since the early 1990s, Campus Ministry has provided meals and volunteers on the first Friday of each month. 

Recently, ownership of the soup kitchen was changed to Catholic Community Services and the serving space relocated to the Salvation Army, but the spirit and intentions remain.
