Women’s Soccer: Saints lose to Falcons

Seattle, WA – Seattle University used three second
half goals to put the game out of reach and defeat Saint Martin’s 4-0 in
Great Northwest Athletic Conference action Friday at Championship Field.
The Falcons scored early picking up their first goal
under a minute into the first half. Kara Kuttler scored on an assist
from Mickey Pelland. Kuttler would pick up a second goal in the 64th
minute off a long pass from Maria Madeira.
Leah Wymer posted the other two Falcon goals with
one in the 62nd minute on a through ball that she slid past the goalie
and the second in the 74th minute on a long pass. Pelland and Madeira
each had two assists in the game.
The Saints were outshot by the Falcons 24-2. Breanna
Klasen had a total of seven saves in the game.
Saint Martin’s will head to Montana State Billings
to take on the Yellowjackets this Sunday.
