May 1, 2007

Prante, one of three individuals competing at the tournament, shot a 75 in the first round, just three over par. After struggling a bit with her putting she finished round two with a 79 to put her two day total at 154, twelve strokes behind the leader.

Shraddhanjali Singh, from Tarleton State University, is the leader at two under followed by Allison Kinser from host school St. Edward’s University at four over.

The first group will start on the course at 8am followed by the second group at 9am. If you would like to follow Prante’s progress, you can do so by going to www.golfstat.com and clicking on the West Regional link on the right hand side.
