Women's Basketball: Saints finish strong

Amber Harmon posted a game high 21 points as Saint
Martin's defeated the University of Alaska Fairbanks 67-57 Saturday
night in their final game of the year at the SMU pavilion.
The Saints built an early 17-4 lead and were able to
maintain the advantage. They had a nine point lead going into the break.
With just under a minute to go in the second half
the Nanooks closed the gap to pull within four points. Jamey Gelhar sank
two free throws and Whitney Golob added an insurance free throw with 25
seconds to go.
Harmon made eight of 10 shots and went four for five
at the line. Gelhar also posted double figures with 10 points. Golob, in
her final collegiate game, had nine rebounds, three assists, and three
blocks.
The Nanooks were led by Kari Reabold with 18 points
while Caitlyn Rohrbach put up 12.
Saint Martin's, who finished their season with a
three game winning streak, posed an overall record of 10-17 and a GNAC
record of 6-10.
