January 6, 2007
Lacey, WA – Saint Martin’s had four players in
double figures on their way to a win over Central Washington University,
74-58, in Great Northwest Athletic Conference play Saturday night at the
SMU Pavilion.
The Saints got out to an early lead only to see

close as they would get. The Saints pulled away going up by as much as
18 in the half.
The Saints shot 42.9 percent (27-63) from the field
to the Wildcats’ 35.8 percent (19-53). SMU also out shot the Wildcats
from the three point line shooting 50 percent (6-12) while Central shot
only 15.8 percent (3-19).

points and eight rebounds. Hanna Hull added 10 points for CWU.
With the win the Saints improve their record to 5-8
on the season and an even 1-1 in GNAC play. Central Washington dropped
to 9-3 on the year and 0-2 in conference.
The Saints are on the road next week as they head to
