October 9, 2007 Spokane, WA – Shealun Campisi was named as the Great Northwest Athletic Conference co-Player-of-the-Week for her efforts in helping the Saints pick up their first win of the season. Campisi led the Saints to a 3-0 victory over Alaska Anchorage with 15 kills and eight digs. In two matches at Fairbanks and Anchorage she had 25 kills, 13 digs and a .232 hitting percentage. “Shealun’s performance this weekend at UAA was remarkable. This is the Shealun we all know from last year, she really stepped up to the plate and out did herself. The stats don’t really reflect her performance, but she performed at the level we expect from her. You had to be there to see the plays she did to understand how great this past weekend was for her,” said head coach Phil Ibarra.
