November 16, 2005 LACEY, WA— Senior outside hitter Keana Morrisey (University Place, WA) and junior setter Lisa Hall (Olympia, WA) were among 26 student-athletes to earn a spot on the 2005 Great Northwest Athletic Conference All-Academic Volleyball Team announced today. Morrisey, a history major, is maintaining a 3.78 grade point average (4.0 scale). Morrisey previously earned all-academic honors in 2003. She recorded 2.81 kills per game in her senior campaign. Hall has earned a 3.56 GPA as a Biology major. She posted 6.51 assists per game this season and will be back for Head Coach Phil Ibarra next season to finish her collegiate career. To be eligible for the conference academic team, student-athletes must have a minimum GPA of 3.20 and be in at least their second year of competition at their university.
