Hurley gets honorable mention on All-GNAC team November 22, 2004 The Great Northwest Athletic Conference announced Saints middle-blocker Christy Hurley as a honorable mention on the 2004 all-conference volleyball team Monday. Hurley (Sr., River Ridge/Pierce) led the Saints with a .285 hitting percentage and .98 blocks per game. She ranked seventh in conference in both categories. Hurley's unconventional arm-swing and keen sense of placement also led to an average of 2.51 kills per game, second only to Stephanie Beck's average of 2.52 among the Saints. The Business Management and Marketing major plans to graduate this spring and begin a career as a corporate merchandiser.
