April 15, 2007 Ellensburg, WA – Six Saints set new personal records as the team competed at the Spike Arlt Invitational Saturday at Tomlinson Stadium. Included in those breaking their PRs were Jessie Dunnam, who finished the women’s 800m with a time of 2:29.73 and Danika Washington, who posted a distance of 29’8” in the shot. Brian Daltoso set a new PR in the 100m at 12.05 and Bryan Gerry in the 200m with a time of 23.36. Also improving their time was Niwar Nasim in the 1500m and Steven LaLonde in the 10k. The two finished with times of 4:21.00 and 35:00.97 respectively. Chelsi Claussen posted the highest Saints finishes of the day placing second in the 100m hurdles and third in the 200m dash. She ran season’s bests in both races at 15.82 and 26.20, times that moved her up in the GNAC rankings. Asiki Ayume also gave the Saints a second place finish running the 800m in 1:58.95. Tristan Beach ran the men’s 10k in 34:54.58, good enough for a conference provisional qualifying time.
